6 C Sliced peeled apples
1 tsp cinnamon
1 Tbsp. Sugar
1 tbsp water
1 tsp Lemon Juice
2 c rolled oats
1 1/2 c. all purpose flour
1 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 sticks butter or margarine softened
|Heat oven to 375. Place apples in un-greased casserole disk or 8″ square baking dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon, water and lemon juice. Mix well.
In a large bowl combine all topping ingredients and mix until crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over apples.
Bake for 25 to 35 minutes until brown
Almond Poppyseed Bread
- 3 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/8 cups cooking oil (do not substitute with coconut oil)
- 2 1/4 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 1/2 T. poppy seeds (Optional)
- 1 1/2 T. almond extract
- 1 T. vanilla
- 2 T. Butter (melted or softened)
Beat all ingredients until well blended.
Butter and flour 2 regular bread loaf pans. Pour batter into pans and bake at 350 for 50-60 min.
Makes 2 bread loaves.
2 C. Powdered Sugar
2 T Milk
1 T Almond Extract
Beat together until smooth. Pour over bread hot out of the oven.
