Cocoa Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 3 c. sugar
  • ¾ c.  Dutch-processed cocoa
  • ¾ c.  Hersey Baking Cocoa
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons light corn syrup

Directions

In a large pot, bring water and sugar to a boil.  Once boiling, whisk in cocoa, vanilla, salt, and corn syrup until all solids are dissolved.

Boil 2 minutes.

Cool and pour into canning jars.
